What's your sign?

I feel so disappointed
when astrology comes
up in conversation.

Me too - glad it is less prevalent these days!

Is it ExactingL? I recently was ensnared in a very lengthly conversation about astrology, birth dates and special numbers. :(

It brings to mind my mothers "fortune telling" each day with her Japanese playing cards :) She's very superstitious and reads her horoscope from the newspaper as well.

Hmm ... astrology, birth dates, and numerology? I think I'm too pragmatic for that sort of hocus pocus!

Yes, numerology, not special numbers, lol. I don't know Anon, I suppose it is all harmless fun and I shouldn't be judgmental. If it makes someone happy or gives them a sense of control or peace it's all good.

Haha! I can see it's fun but we don't want astrology controlling us :)

I think of it as similar to genealogy: perhaps interesting to the individual but boring as anything to anyone else. As an only child I liked that I was a Gemini, thinking perhaps I had a secret sister only I knew. I decided 5 was my lucky number because I was born in the 5th month, my Mom and I both wore size 5 shoes and size 5 rings (it's very lucky to wear the same size as your mother!). So I just said it was boring and then went on to tell you...sorry about that!

Shelley - I find genealogy really interesting and enjoy hearing about ancestors, even of other people. Astrology not so much. :)
